Hi friends!
I’m back from vacation feeling fresh and inspired! I brought a minimal pack of art supplies to sketch while on the cruise, and I was glad I did because I always find that drawing on location enriches the experience and improves my memory. Did I get as much done as I planned? Well, let’s just say that I embraced relaxation and fun with friends on this trip! If you want to see what I brought on the trip (and see what I used) as well as my finished sketches, then join me for a free livestream on Wednesday, the 28th, at noon Eastern time on YouTube.
Don’t worry if you can’t make it live, there will be a replay available for anyone who missed it. I look forward to hanging out with you!
Speaking of YouTube, here are some fun videos I posted over the last 2 weeks, click here to see all of my most recent videos from newest to oldest.
I got a lot of wonderful feedback from the “Lazy Artist Essentials / What’s in my Living Room Art Cart” video. Many viewers said they were going to create a living room art cart for themselves! I love inspiring others to create! Did you make one too? I posted a cardmaking and several painting videos, so I hope you find something you like! I also wanted to mention that you can click the magnifying glass icon and search videos and topics on my channel if you are looking for something specific! With nearly 4000 videos, it’s easy to miss something that you might enjoy!
Lastly, I am having a site-wide flash sale on my art classes!
You know that I don’t often have site-wide sales, so it its a great time to add a class to your stash! Take 40% off any class with coupon code: MD40OFF2025 in my Online Art School.
Click "add coupon" at checkout and type or paste in MD40OFF2025 to get 40% off the class of your choice.
You get lifetime access to any of my full courses and bundles, so you can buy now on sale and paint later when you have the time!
I hope you enjoyed the 1st installment of the weekly wrap-up newsletter. I will try to be consistent, but I don’t want to spam anyone. I just want to make sure my peeps don’t miss the 3-5 new free videos I post each week (and who am I kidding, my shameless promotions too LOL!, Gotta pay the bills right?)
Have a safe and happy holiday, and as always, happy painting and crafting!
Lindsay
Love the weekly newsletter!
Also, I did make an art cart to place beside my recliner. It is a cart with three drawers and a top that I can place things on. I absolutely love it!
Love the weekly newsletter! I love the art cart........I have FOUR of those carts. Crochet/books/painting, Office/health-beauty/books, a bedroom cart lotion, socks underwear, Kleenex, books, etc. , and one to collect things that belong elsewhere in the house or to leave the house like library books, store returns, mail, etc. I can pull them around the house, and best of all, when company comes over, I can pull them all into my bedroom to hide, instead of trying to clean piles of my stuff from all over, lol
